October 31, 1957 <br />A special meting of the Board of PublicSafety was held on Thursday, October <br />31, 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. <br />Fire Chief Andrzejewski appeared before the Board at this time and requested <br />permission to send Batt. Chief Lederrer, Ass't. Chief Doran, and Fire Chief <br />to attend a Seminar at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana on the 4th day <br />of November, 1957. Permission granted. <br />The hereby approves the appointment of Jack Andrzejewski, Stanley J. Jackowiak, <br />Jr., Joseph Herczeg, Frank L. Kaniewski, and Edward Szymkowiak to the Fire De- <br />partment of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Said applicants having passed all <br />required written examinations and also having passed necessary physical exami- <br />nations by both the City Doctor and the Pension Board Doctor, their appointment <br />shall become effective as of November 1, 1957. <br />There being no other business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 10:25 A.M. (CST). <br />CHAIRMAN <br />ATTEST: A NY J. SABO, CLERK <br />November 4, 1957 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, November <br />4, 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous <br />regular meeting were read and approved.
