Statement of Benefits for v/I on W. Washington Street (18-3068-2608) <br />Section 2: Description of real property, improvements, redevelopment or rehabilitation: <br />A vacant lot on W. Washington with 120 + feet of street frontage will be replatted into two lots (Lot 1 <br />and Lot 2 of Washington Street Minor Subdivision), each with 60 + feet of street frontage . Two <br />approximately 1,700 square foot, two-story, three bedroom houses will be built on these lots, starting <br />with Lot 2. <br />Section 5: Other Benefits. <br />The beneficiaries of these houses will be single family, owner occupants that have a family income of <br />120% of the Area Median Income, or less. The sales price will be discounted by approximately $40- <br />50,000 in order to be affordable to these potential owners. This opportunity to provide affordable <br />housing through granting a discount is a direct result of the NSP (Neighborhood Stimulus Program) <br />monies allocated by the Federal Government to South Bend. <br />
