August 269 1957 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, August <br />262 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (DST). All members were present. Minutes of the <br />previous regular meeting were read and approved. Permission granted. <br />Captain Russell Hunt requests permission for a militgrylleave of absence from <br />police duty from October 19 1957 to February 79 1958 to report for active duty <br />training at the Armoured School at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Permission granted <br />subject to the understanding that military leave be granted and said Hunt would <br />receive no compensation from City during this period, however seniority rights <br />would continue. <br />The T. B. League request permission to set up X-Ray machine for a half -day at <br />Station #12. Permission granted. <br />Fire Chfbef Andrzjewski requests permission to send Batt. Chief Ledderer to attend <br />State Fire School at Purdue University on the 10, 11, 12, and 13 days of August, <br />1957. Permission granted. <br />
