Minutes of the previous <br />regular meeting were read and approved. Permission granted. <br />Nicholas Horvath, Supt. of Electrical Department, recommends the installation of the <br />following lights: <br />Two (2) - 1000 lumen lights in the 1300 block Garland Road. <br />4000 lumen light at 901 North Elmer Street. <br />4000 lumen light at 1216 N. Twyckenham Drive. <br />4000 lumen light at 1245 N. Twyckenham Drive. <br />The time now being after 10:00 A.M. (DST) it was so announced and the bids for the <br />Police Department sedans were opened and read. Pro6fs of publication in the South <br />Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record with an <br />affidavit signed by Ruby McManon were submitted to the Board and found sufficient. <br />The single bid received reads as follows: <br />Freeman Spicer Company <br />520 S. Lafayette St. <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />A non -collusion affidavit and a <br />certified check in the amount of <br />$1008.00 accompanied the bid. <br />Six (6) 1957 Studebaker Commander Regal BW4 4-door sedans <br />Less discount and allowance <br />Net total for six (6) units ------------------------------ $10,079.30 <br />The bid was taken under advisement and after due consideration the Board now awards <br />the contract for the six (6) sedans for the Police Depa r tment to Freeman Spicer Co. <br />There being no fur her <br />at 10:45 A.M. <br />businessj"t�p!ticom before a Board, the me was Piourned <br />ANTHONY J.
