V MARCH 11, 1957 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, March 11, 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. An official bond covering the special policemen's permit for Albert A. Vascil is here- by approved and placed on file. Upon recommendation of_the Chief of Police, J. Charles Dutrieux,Officer Albert Voorde will be given the suspension of one week from the City of South Bend Police Department, effective as of March 10, 1956, on the charges of in -subordination. Board hereby approves the recommendation of the Police Chief. Upon recommendation of Fire Chief Andrzjewski, Captain. Peter Sabinas of the City of South Bend Fire Department is hereby demoted to the rank of Private. Effective as of February 259 1957. The February, 1957,,monthly report of the Weights & Measures Department is hereby accepted and placed on file. The,Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized to advertise for cable for the Electrical De- partment. There being no furthe business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:55 AZM.
