RESOLUTION NO. 738-79 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING TERRY S. MILLER, FOR HIS EIGHT YEARS OF SERVICE AS THIRD DISTRICT COUNCILAlAN FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, WHEREAS, Terry S. Miller has been a Councilman for the Third District of the City of South Bend since 1971; and WHEREAS, Councilman Miller has served with distinction on the Century Center Board of Managers for four years; and WHEREAS, Councilman Miller has served as Chairman of the Council's Century Center Committee; and as a member of the Council's Human Resources and Economic Development Committee and Utilities Committee; and WHEREAS, Councilman Miller exemplifies a fine example of a hard - working and dedicated public servant, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the Citizens of South Bend, through their Common Council, commend and congratulate Terry S. Miller for his eight years of service as a Councilman for the Third District. SECTION II. That the Common Council wish Councilman Miller continued success and a bright and successful future. SECTION III. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. Adopted December 17, 1979
