RESOLUTION NO. 739 -79 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING <br />FRANK HORVATH, FOR HIS EIGHT YEARS OF SER- <br />VICE AS A COUNCILMAN -AT -LARGE FOR THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND. <br />WHEREAS, Frank Horvath has been a Councilman -at -Large for <br />the City of South Bend since 1971; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Horvath has had the distinction of serving <br />as Chairman of Committee of the Whole for four-years and a member <br />of the Economic Development Commission for three years; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Horvath has been an active member of <br />several Council Committees including: Personnel and Finance, <br />Human Resources and Economic Development, Older Adults, Public <br />Works, and Public Safety; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Horvath exemplifies a fine example of <br />a hard - working and dedicated public servant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the Citizens of South Bend, through their <br />Common Council, commend and congratulate Frank Horvath for his <br />eight years of service as a Councilman -at- Large. <br />SECTION II. That the Common Council wish Councilman Horvath <br />continued success and a bright and successful future. <br />SECTION III.
