RESOLUTION NO. 740 -79 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING <br />MARY CHRISTINE ADAMS, FOR HER FOUR YEARS <br />OF SERVICE AS A COUNCILMAN -AT -LARGE FOR THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />WHEREAS, Mary Christine Adams has been a Councilman -at -Large <br />for the City of South Bend, since 1975; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Adams has diligently served as Chairman <br />of two hard - working Council Committees, namely, the Personnel <br />and Finance Committee and the Utilities Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Adams has been an active member of <br />several other committees including: Council Rules, Century Center, <br />Public Works, and Residential Neighborhoods; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilman Adams exemplifies a fine example of a <br />hard - working and dedicated public servant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the Citizens of South Bend, through their <br />Common Council, commend and congratulate Mary Christine Adams <br />for her four years of service as a Councilman -at- Large. <br />SECTION II. That the Common Council wish Councilman Adams <br />continued success and a bright and successful future. <br />SECTION III.
