(a) Since an updated Geographic Base File (GBF) has been prepared <br />as part of the ongoing 1980 census program, and can be provided <br />to the Contractor by the Purchaser as an edited computer tape <br />in standard census GBF /DIME format ready for use, the Con- <br />tractor will use such tape in geo- coding the City Directory <br />canvass records and preparing the Profiles Package. <br />(b) If this updated tape contains any revisions in tract con- <br />figurations intended for use in the 1980 census, the Pur- <br />chaser will furnish maps and other information needed to se <br />modify the tract boundaries to be shown on the maps to be <br />prepared by the Contractor as part of the Profiles Package. <br />(c) In the event that the Contractor needs additional informa- <br />tion to identify by census tract any streets or address <br />ranges included in the City Directory but not included in <br />the GBF, such information shall be supplied by the Purchaser <br />on request. <br />4. Time of Performance by Contractor. The Profiles Package shall be fur- <br />nished to the Purchaser within 90 days from the latest of any of the following: <br />(a) date of receipt by Contractor of this agreement fully executed by Purchaser; <br />(b) date the current -year computer tape to be used in compiling the Profiles <br />Package becomes available for use by the Contractor; or (c) date the Contractor <br />accepts in writing as satisfactory for use any coding guide material to be <br />furnished by the Purchaser. If delay in the performance of this Agreement is <br />occasioned by circumstances above and beyond the control of the Contractor, <br />including but not limited to labor disputes, wars, national disasters or other <br />calamity the time for performance under this Agreement shall be extended for <br />a period equal to the duration of the delay. <br />5. Warranty. The Contractor warrants to the Purchaser that the information <br />provided in the Profiles Package is as accurate, correct, current and complete <br />as may be achieved using the source data, processing methods and procedures <br />normally employed by the Contractor, and Contractor does not warrant the use of <br />the information for any specific purpose. This warranty is in lieu of all other <br />warranties and in no event shall the Contractor be liable for special or con- <br />sequential damages. <br />6. <br />forth in <br />set forth <br />and made <br />Additional Material to be <br />Exhibit A, the Contractor <br />in the following Addenda <br />a part thereof, relating <br />Provided. This Agreement is subject to and <br />incorporates herein by reference any provisions required by law or regulation <br />to be attached hereto and entitled "Additional Terms and Conditions ". It is <br />also understood that the Contractor may use the same source data obtained from <br />its City Directories to compile special statistical information packages for <br />various non - government clients. <br />
