Vance, Chief Deputy Controller `�` ( �C" <br />SUBJECT: In Kind Financial Support <br />DATE: March 14, 1980 <br />I am writing to formalize the ideas and thoughts we verbally discussed <br />several weeks ago in reference to the cost or value that would be placed <br />on my services and those of the staff of the Chief Deputy Controller's <br />Office during the course of any particular working year. <br />As I hope you're aware, because of my interest in the activities of the <br />Bureau and its projects and programs, I've always tried to assist you by <br />being available for consultation when ever the need arises. In addition, <br />my office handles your accounts payable and payroll on a continual basis. <br />The following is an attempt by myself to place a value on that assistance. <br />I. Chief Deputy Controller <br />2.5 hours per week @ $11.42 per hr. = $1,485 annually <br />2. Staff Time <br />3 hours per week @ $26.44 per hr. = $4,661 annually <br />Total $6,146 <br />Please note this represents approximately 13.7% of our time. I do not <br />believe this to be unrealistic based on the time we spend processing <br />checks, and purchase orders, processing payroll, accounting to the deposit <br />and expense of your funds, and my services in budget preparation and <br />expense, ordinance preparation, and general financial advice. <br />I hope this will fulfill your needs; if you would like a more detailed <br />expense report, I would be glad to accomplish that at a later date. <br />bz <br />
