December 28, 1964 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, December <br />28, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular <br />meeting were read and approved. No vouchers were approved for payment. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENTSUB-STAND DIVISIOE "ARINGS <br />Comes now Richard Liszewski, Supervisor of the Sub -Standard Division of <br />the Building Department, and advises the Board that Mr. Peter Nemeth, <br />y attorney, representing Mr. Steve Nagy, owner of property located at 322 <br />Laurel Street had contacted him and requested a continuance of one week <br />at which time he will have all information concerning this property. <br />Request granted. Hearing xe�,scheduled for January 4, 1965. <br />With reference to property owned by Frank and Helen Cook, located at 506 <br />S. 27th Street, Mr. Cook appeared before the Board, as requested and <br />submitted a letter from Hugh Wright, contractor, setting forth repairs <br />that have already been made. <br />Mr. Cook requested a continuance in order to complete the repairs to bring <br />property up to Code. <br />After hearing Mr. Cook, the Board directed the Sub -Standard Division <br />Supervisor to arrange for another inspection of this property and report <br />findings to the Board on January 4, 1960. <br />Mr. Liszewski submitted a progress report with reference to the root beer <br />stand located at 1629 W. Linden, owned by Tti2r. Ronald Grant and which was <br />to be moved to another location. <br />Mr. Liszewski advised the Board that this stand will be moved by the owner <br />to a new location. <br />PARKING METER DEPARTMENT ( SUM4IT BUDGET ) <br />Mr. Alvin Reeder, Superintendent of the Parking Meter Department, was <br />requested by the Board to submit his 1965 Budget for approval.by the <br />Common Council. <br />POLICE DEPARU ENTL MONTHLY REPORT <br />A report for the month of November, 1964, was submitted by the Police <br />Department, accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATIQNS: POLICE DEPARRJENT <br />The following applications for the Police Department were accepted and <br />ordered placed on file: Edward Michael Derrough, Cloyde Francis Coffman. <br />APPLICATION_: POLICE AUX. SCHOOL PATROL <br />An application from Mrs. Marian Virginia Winenger for Police Auxiliary <br />School Patrol was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Fire Department from Paul Douglas Harvey was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET <br />LIGHT <br />OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street <br />Light <br />Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />
