December 14, 1964
A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday,
December 14, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. He also advised the Board that the
assessed valuation of both properties was $1,900.00.
Mr. Lisziewski recommended that the propertiea be vacated by April,
1965 and demolished.
After hearing all who wished to be heard it was the decision of the
Board to request that Mrs. Wezesien appear before the Board with 81
firm contract for repairs by a reputable contractor within 30 days.
If she fails to follow these ixwtructions, the properties will be
ordered vacated by April, 1965 and will be ordered demolished.
A progress report on property owned by Frank and Helen Cook, located
at 506 27th Street was submitted to the Board by Mr. Lisziewski'
who stated that Mr. Cook had failed to appear before the Board on
this date, as ordered and that very little had been accomplished in
repairs on the subject property.
After hearing Mr. Lisziewski, it was the decision of the Board to
order advertisement for bids for demolition. The Board also directed
the Sub -Standard Division to advise Mr. Cook of this action by
letter.
SUB -STANDARD DIVIa ON: OPENING 9E BID (--MOLITIQN )
Advertising for bids for demolition of property owned by David
Obert, located at 313.N.
