Comes also Roland Grant to shoe cause why root beer barrel has not <br />been removed from the rear of his premises. <br />Mr. Grant advised the Board that he had no place to move the root beer <br />barrell stand and that he would like to keep the stand for future use, <br />if he needed it. <br />After hearing Mr. Grant that the stand constituted a nuisance and that <br />residents in the area had complained about the condition of the stand <br />and, further, that this Board had no recourse except to order the stand <br />moved from the property. <br />At the -request of Mr. Grant, the Board granted him two weeks in Which <br />to find a new location for the stand where it would not be objectionable. <br />If this is not accomplished, the stand will be demolished. <br />SUB-ST AI-VISIQH PROGRESS REPORT <br />John Grabarz informed the Board that Mr. Hutchins had made arrangements <br />and had contract to tear down house located at 1104 S. Ironwood Drivek. <br />ELECTRIC P TSEN -- INCREASE IG I G IN BARER, MADISON GREEN <br />C UI E9M STREET AREA <br />Following examination by the Electrical Department and the City Controller <br />as to the availability of funds, the Board approved the increase of <br />street light wattage in the Bader, Coquillard Drive, Greenlavm, Esther <br />Street, Madison Street area for an increase from 92 watt to 295 watt <br />street lights. <br />PET T 0 • S ET LIGHT ( ST. AIMLOM OEM AREA ) <br />A Petition from residents of the area for a street light on the existing <br />pole at the northwest corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Ironwood Drive <br />for pedestrian safey,. especially Nons and school children crossing <br />Ironwood Drive. <br />The Petition was referred to the Electrical Department for investiga- <br />tion and recommendation. <br />REQUEST: CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOVISHIP ( PARK _BUSSES_ FOR _ABLE CLASSES ) <br />A request from Richard H. Damon of Child Evangelism Fell(niship of St. <br />Joseph County to park busses or trailers on street for the time it takes <br />to hold Bible Classes for children who are released from school once a <br />week for such classes was referred to the Traffic Engineer for investiga- <br />tion and recommendation. <br />SPECIAL POLICE CQ+11ISSION ( STEELE ) <br />A Special Police Commission for Dorothy A.
