394 <br />October 19, 1964 <br />A regular meeting of the Board'of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />October 19, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes <br />of the last regular meeting and the special meeting were read and <br />approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various <br />suppliers. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: SPECIAL POLICE <br />The following Special Police Commissions and Bonds were approved and <br />ordered placed on file: <br />James R. Rembl,e, with A.D.T. <br />George Doy, Playland Park and Notre Dame. <br />The following Commissions were approved pending receipt of Bonds: <br />Russell Jester, LaSalle Hotel <br />Arthur J. Resil, with Commercial Services Co. <br />PERK ION TO ADVERTISE:- POLICE DEPARTMENT i FOUR DOOR SEDAN ) <br />Permission was granted to Police Chief Hampton to advertise for one <br />four -door sedan for use of the Police Department. Sealed bids will <br />be opened on November 2, 1964. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT• STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS <br />The following installations were approved, following the recommendation <br />of the Electrical. Department Superintendent: <br />1. Street light, 4000 lumen, on pole that has Fire Box on Dubail between <br />High and Marietta Streets. This should discourage present vandalism. <br />2. 1 - 4000 lumen street light at Nietzel Court between Ohio and <br />Keasey Streets. Also, a street light on Nietzel Court between Keasey <br />and Wenger Streets. <br />STREET LIG,- OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER - TRAFFIC SIGHS INSTALLED <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following <br />traffic installations were approved: <br />No Parking This Side of Street signs installed on east side of Diamond, <br />Avenue from Lincoln Way West to Portage Avenue. <br />No Parking signs installed on north side of Diamond Avenue at 1253 and 1265. <br />No Parking signs installed on north side of 1100 W. Sample Street from <br />Arnold to east lineof 1115 and on south side of Sample from 1120 to 1116. <br />Time Limit signs installed on north side of 1500 block of West Sample Street. <br />No Parking This Side of Street installed on south side of Sample Street <br />from Webster to Olive Streets. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT* SUB -STANDARD DIVISION i HEARINGS l <br />Comes now Mr. Parker, attorney representing Mr. Charles Mack, party who <br />is buying property located at 1217 S.
