394 October 19, 1964 A regular meeting of the Board'of Public Safety was held on Monday, October 19, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular meeting and the special meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. POLICE DEPARTMENT: SPECIAL POLICE The following Special Police Commissions and Bonds were approved and ordered placed on file: James R. Rembl,e, with A.D.T. George Doy, Playland Park and Notre Dame. The following Commissions were approved pending receipt of Bonds: Russell Jester, LaSalle Hotel Arthur J. Resil, with Commercial Services Co. PERK ION TO ADVERTISE:- POLICE DEPARTMENT i FOUR DOOR SEDAN ) Permission was granted to Police Chief Hampton to advertise for one four -door sedan for use of the Police Department. Sealed bids will be opened on November 2, 1964. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT• STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS The following installations were approved, following the recommendation of the Electrical. Department Superintendent: 1. Street light, 4000 lumen, on pole that has Fire Box on Dubail between High and Marietta Streets. This should discourage present vandalism. 2. 1 - 4000 lumen street light at Nietzel Court between Ohio and Keasey Streets. Also, a street light on Nietzel Court between Keasey and Wenger Streets. STREET LIG,- OUTAGE REPORTS Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. TRAFFIC ENGINEER - TRAFFIC SIGHS INSTALLED Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following traffic installations were approved: No Parking This Side of Street signs installed on east side of Diamond, Avenue from Lincoln Way West to Portage Avenue. No Parking signs installed on north side of Diamond Avenue at 1253 and 1265. No Parking signs installed on north side of 1100 W. Sample Street from Arnold to east lineof 1115 and on south side of Sample from 1120 to 1116. Time Limit signs installed on north side of 1500 block of West Sample Street. No Parking This Side of Street installed on south side of Sample Street from Webster to Olive Streets.
