FIRE DEPARTMENT ( APPOINTMENTS ) <br />J. RITTER,_ J. BECKER <br />At the request of Fire Chief McHenry the following applicants to the <br />Fire Department will be sent to the City Doctor for physical examination <br />and also the Pension Board Doctor. If the applicants meet all qualifi- <br />cations and pass the physical examinations they will be appointed to <br />the Fire Department: <br />John M.J. Becker <br />Jay Randall Ritter <br />SPECIAL POLICE COMMISSION & BOND_ ( A.D.T. ) <br />The Board approved the Special Police Commission and Bond for Raymond <br />Gene Powers, employed by the American District Telegraph Company, Inc. <br />and ordered same placed on file. <br />APPLICATIONS: POLICE DEPARTMENT - AUX. SCHQ00L PATROL <br />The following applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were <br />accepted and ordered placed on file: <br />Artie Janice Bussert <br />Louise Julia Kurzhal <br />Ellen Maxine Mussehe <br />APPLICATION: POLICE DEPAR7kENT <br />An application for the Police Department from Keith LeRoy Fry was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Fire Department from Thomas Floyd Opfel was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />REPORT: TRAFFIC ENGINEER ,( TRAFFIC SIGN ) N. ALLEN ST. <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, submitted a report in response to <br />a request by the Board in answer to a Petition for a "Watch for <br />Children t' sign at the alley next to 522 N. Allen Street. <br />After investigation, it was the recommendation that such a sign be <br />installed. <br />Following the recommendation of Mr. Hazinski, the installation was <br />approved. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( INSTALLATIONS ) <br />Following the recommnendation of the Traffic Engineer, Clem Hazinski, <br />the following installations were approved: <br />2 - 30 Minute Time Limit signs installed to cover 1345 N. Ironwood Drive <br />2 - 30 Minute Time Limit signs installed to cover 1406 Miami Street. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REPRESENTATIVE ( MOLNAR ,) <br />Mr. Stephen Molnar was present at the meeting as a representative of <br />the Health Department. <br />
