PARENT, Mayor COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 April 28, 1980 South Bend Common Council 4th Floor County -City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 Dear Members of the Council: This resolution is a follow -up to a resolution that you passed earlier in the year, authorizing the tem- porary transfer of monies between different funds in the City. It is necessary that this office come before you for this resolution because fund transfers as stipulated in the original resolution have already been exceeded. This has been precipitated by two things: l.) Due to the re- assessment process that has taken place within the County, prop- erty tax bills went out later than normal. This situation was compounded by the tem- porary injunction against the distribution of property tax revenues that was lifted last week. 2.) The City of South Bend was not included among the taxing units that received rev- enues from miscellaneous taxes last week.
