GXT <br />December 302 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />December 309 1963 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes <br />of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( DEMOLITION BID) <br />Comes now John Grabarz and advises the Board that he had readvertised <br />for bids for demolition of property located at 813 W. Jefferson Blvd., <br />owned by Mr. Leonard Campanale and that, once again, only one bid had <br />been received. <br />This bid was from the following company: <br />A & J Demolition Co. <br />With salvage $375.00 <br />Without salvage 390.00 <br />it was the opinion of the Board that, since only one bid had been <br />received this matter should be continued and disposition made by <br />the new Board of Public Safety. <br />Case continued. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( TRAFFIC SIGN INSTALLATION <br />The Boards on December 23, 1963, approved the following installation•, <br />following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer: <br />12 Minute Parking At This Meter sign installed on meter post in front <br />of 111 W. Jefferson Blvd, <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET' LIGHTS ) <br />Following the recommendation of the Electrical Department, the Board <br />approved the following installations and removals: <br />Remove 4-6000 lumen street lights on Mishawaka Avenue between Esther <br />and Greenlawn and in its place install 6-21,000 lumen street lights. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT ( MONTHLY REPORT) <br />The Board accepted a Report for the month of November, 1963 from the <br />Police Department and ordered same placed on file. <br />Kt:1 1KtMtW1' : t lht ULFAK1 MEN1 t UHlEr ALEX ANURZEJ EW5K1 ) <br />A.'letter from.the Firemen's Pension Fund, signed by Alex M. Andrzejewski <br />as President of. the Firemen's Pension Fund stated that'the.Boaid.of <br />Trustees of the Pension Fund had acted favorably upon the petition of <br />Fire Chief Alex Andrzejewski to retire, effective January 1, 1964. <br />The letter will be turned over to the new Board of Public Safety for <br />whatever procedure the Board will take. <br />HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE <br />Mr. Stephen Molnar, representing the Department of Health, was present <br />at the meeting as a representative of that Department. <br />
