The goal of this project is to insure that appropriate services are available <br />and offered to adolescent victims of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse or <br />neglect and that those services are extended to family members as well. <br />If funded, three staff positions will be created. They are project coor- <br />dinator, family therapist, and family social work specialist. Because of the <br />nature of this project, these funds cannot be used to support current Youth <br />Service Bureau staff. <br />Since this project will be funded for a period of two years maximum, it will <br />be essential to look for alternative funding. The coordinator of this project <br />and myself will be responsible for investigating alternative funding sources to <br />include Title XX, United Way, church and foundation support, and private contri- <br />butions. The possibility of partial funding through client fees also exist. <br />I'm sorry that time limitations preclude our sharing the application with the <br />members of the Common Council.
