March 4, 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />March 4, 1963. Messrs. R. S. Andrysiak and Iiving J. Smith were present. <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers <br />Yo'uchers were.approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( HEARINGS� <br />Comes now',,John,;GrAarz, of the Stab -Standard Division of the Building <br />Department, and states that Mr. Miller, realtor, is appearing on <br />behalf of property located at €01 E. Pennsylvania. Mr. Miller also <br />states that this property, owned by Ernest Miltenberger, will be <br />representated by a Mr. Miller od behalf of Highland Cemetery Association. <br />Due to business commitment, Mr. Miller was unable to be present. <br />Therefore, the hearing was continued for -one week. <br />With reference to property located at 22M N. Huey Street, owned by <br />Mr. Jacob Overholt,, Mr. Grabarz advised the Board that Mr. Overholt <br />was directed to appear before the Board to show cause why repair <br />orders had not been complied with. <br />gince Mr. Overholt failed to appear, it was the decision of the Board <br />that Mr. Grabarz proceed with condemnation orders. <br />With reference to property located at 525 Cottage Grove Avenue, <br />hearing on this was continued for one week. - <br />APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />An application from Gerald Louis Sosnoski for the Police Department <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ACCIDENT REPORT: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />An accident report from the Police Department involving Police cars, no <br />injuries, was accepted by the Board and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND ( M. GILBERT <br />A Special Police Bond for Milton A. Gilbert was approved and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT_ <br />An application for the Fire Department from Martin C. Kruszewski was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />PETITION: STREET LIGHT (APOSTOLIC TEMPLE CHURCH <br />A Petition from residents of Ewing Avenue requests installation of a <br />street light at West driveway of Apostolic Temple Church Parking Lot <br />in the lot east of 1917 E. Ewing Avenue was referred to Nicholas Horvath, <br />Superintendent of the Electrical Department for investigation and <br />recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ACCIDENT REPORTS: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Two non -injury accident reports were filed by the Fire Department, <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />1 <br />
