3 3 <br />Certified check for $181.00, signed by J. R. Hansen <br />Non -collusion Affidavit, signed by E. V. Jarvinen, Chief Clerk <br />This bid will be examined and awarded within the statutory limitations. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT i SUB -STANDARD ā¢IVISION - HEARINGS <br />Comes now John Grabarz, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the <br />Building Department and advises the Board that Mr. Strefling, owner of <br />property located at 919 Marietta had been requested to appear to show <br />cause why building, which has been .condemned, has not been demolished. <br />Comes now Mr. Fred Strefling and says that he would like to bring <br />property up to standard and asked a continuance in order to do this. <br />After hearing Mr. Strefling, the Board continued the hearing until <br />June 3, 1963 at which time all repairs must be completed. <br />1 <br />With reference to property located at 1216 S. Franklin Street, which <br />is to be demolished, Mr. Grabarz reported that only one bid had been <br />received, as follows: <br />A & G Demolition $260 with salvage $350 without salvage. <br />The Board directed Mr. Grabarz to award the bid at the $350 figure. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT LINSTALLATIQNS ,) <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Electrical Department <br />Superintendent, the following installation was approved: <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light at 818 S. 31st Street. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGEiREPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ACCIDENT REPORTS POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Accident reports of no injury nature, were accepted_ and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />ACCIDENT REPORT FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Accident report from Fire Department, no injury, was accepted and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />Chairman <br />Attest: AnthoWJ.
