September 109 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was.held on Monday, <br />September 10,, 1962 at MOO A.M. DST, Messrs. Andrysiak add Davies <br />were present. Minutes of the last -regular meeting were read and <br />approved. Vouchers -were approved and ordered paid to the various <br />suppliers. <br />MODEL ORDINANCE FOR EATING AND DRINKING ESTABLIS WNTS <br />Mr..Stephen-Molner and Mr. Louis. Keszei appeared before the Board <br />to submit a copy of a model Ordinance with reference to Eating and <br />Drinking Establishments. <br />This Ordinance has been -approved by the State Board of Health and <br />the Attorney'General's Office as a model Ordinance. Falcon Street at the direction <br />of the Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department! to _,show <br />cause why she has not -,vacated property located at 134 S. Falcon Street <br />in compliance with orders issued by the Division of Sub -Standard <br />Buildings. <br />Mrs. Hammock stated that she is a widow and resides at the above <br />address alone and that she is getting some help from the Welfare <br />Department. She further stated that in Junei 1962 she signed the <br />property over to the State of Indiana so that she could get additional, <br />assistance from the Welfare Department for food and lodging, and/oZ pension. <br />Mr. Grabarz was directed to notify the State concerning this and to <br />contact the Welfare Department concerning the above case. <br />Hearing continued until September 24, 1962. <br />With reference to the property owned by Mr. Joseph J. Binder and <br />located at 607 N. Wayne Street, Mr. Cook, attorney, appeared for <br />Mr. Binder and requested a continuance of this hearing in order to <br />allow sufficient time to obtain figures from the Contractor. <br />Case continued until September 179 1962. <br />BIDS FOR DEMOLITION <br />Mr. Grabarz submitted the results of advertising for bids for the <br />demolition of property located at 106 S. St. Louis Blvd., and 106* <br />S. St. Louis Blvd. The following bids were received: <br />Virgil Towne <br />$300.00 with salvage <br />.600.00 without salvage <br />B & Q Wrecking..Co.: <br />$325.00 with salvage <br />425.00 without salvage <br />A & J. Wreckina Co. <br />$325.00 with salvage <br />400.00 without salvage <br />Mr. Grabarz requested that this be continued for one week in order <br />that he may further examine the bids submitted. <br />Permission granted.
