W <br />Mr. Joseph Jackiniak, 1418 N. Meade Street and Mrs. Shirley Cossaboom, <br />836 Dushane Court, both property owners of property on Meade Street, <br />appeared before the Board to inquire whether damage would be done to <br />sewers during move and installation of hook-ups. <br />The Board$ after hearing both parties, approved the house mggve, provided <br />all Codes wane complied with and further, that the City of oath Bend <br />be indemnified with sufficient insurance to protect the City in case <br />of damages. Also, the Secretary of the Board was directed to coordinate <br />the move with the Traffic Engineer in order to ascertain that all <br />provisions of the Building Department are met and that the house remains <br />vacant until it meets all Code Requirements, <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB-STANDARDDIVISION ( HEARINGS ) <br />Comes Now Mr. Boynton, attorney for the Hay Estate concerning property <br />located at 812 S. Rush Street and informs the Board that he has retained <br />Ham The Wrecker to tear down dwelling at above address. He -further <br />requests a continuance until June 25, 1962. <br />Permission grart ed. <br />With reference to property located at 106 S. St. Louis Blvd. and 106f <br />S. St. Louis Bldg., at the request of Mr. Grabarz, 'c©ndemnatlon order <br />was'drdered:and.Mr. Grabarz directed to notify the owner of the property <br />of this action. <br />With reference to property located at 122 E. Paris St., owned by Mr. <br />Rightley of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Mr. Grabarz reported that the <br />time for bringing property up to standard was completed and he now requests <br />permission to issue demolition order. <br />Permission granted. <br />With reference to property located at 617 Neddo Court, Mr. Grabarz requested <br />that this case be continued until July 9, 1962. <br />Permission granted. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( CLOSE ODLUMBUS OOURT - WYMANS'S REMODELING ) <br />Comes now Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, and requests that Columbus <br />Court be closed to vehicular traffic for the distance of approximately 150 <br />feet west of the building line on Michigan Street. Also, that protection <br />be afforded for pedestrians to use the north sidewalk of this Court. The <br />rest of the alley ways adjoining should be kept open at all times for use <br />by emergency equipment and delivery of merchandise. <br />The request for the closing of this Court originated with Sollit Construction <br />Company in connection with Wyman's construction work. <br />Permission granted. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( TRAFFIC SIGNS <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following installations <br />were approved: <br />Yield Right of Way signs on Orkney Street, both sides, at York Road. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT ) PETITION <br />A Petition from residents of Sylvan Lane request the installation of a street <br />light in the 800 Block of Sylvan Lane because it is unsafe on account of <br />darkness and the fact, according to the petitioners, that this area is <br />
