0 February 5, 1962 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, February 52 1962 at 10:00 A.M. CST. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. OPENING OF BIDS - POLICE DEPARTMENT ( CARS The time now being after 10:00 A,M. it sas so announced and bids for the Foliba Department cars were opened and read aloud. Proofs of Publication from The South Bend Tribune with affidavit signed by Robert DeLong and The Record with affidavit signed by Kathleen Sweitzer were read andfound sufficient. POLICE DEPARTMENT RETIREMENT ( SGT PASALICH) Comes now Police Chief Harmon and requests the Board to grant permission for Sgt. R. Pasalich to retire from the Police Department, effective March 13, 1962 at which time he will have completed 20 years of active service on the Police Department. The Board, after examination, grants the request, effective March 13, 1962.
