PARENT, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />September 10, 1980 <br />the Common Council <br />County -City Building <br />Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Members of the Council: <br />The attached resolution is a necessary step that we must <br />perform prior to making application to HUD for the UDAG <br />grant that is associated with the ethanol plant. <br />219/284 -9742 <br />Because UDAG funds will be used to construct an access <br />road into the facility, and because part of that road will <br />fall within the County, it is necessary for the Common <br />Council to resolve to maintain that portion of the road <br />which falls in the County. <br />In all likelihood we will be pursing the avenue of an- <br />nexation in order to acquire this road and actually make <br />it a part of the City.
