Kernan <br />Common Council <br />County -City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Council Members: <br />On June 23, 1980, the Common Council approved the <br />sale of city -owned property located at 1817 Benton Court, <br />pursuant to Chapter 14.5 of the Municipal Code. <br />An appraisal of the property was made and an <br />offering price of $487.50 was established. The pros- <br />pective purchaser is very interested in purchasing this <br />property since it adjoins property he currently owns <br />and has offered the sum of $100.00 for said lot. <br />The Board of Public Works is desirous in placing <br />this property back on the tax rolls and has approved the <br />sale of the lot for $100.00, subject to concurrence by <br />the Common Council. <br />Your favorable action on this matter is requested. <br />Sincerely, <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Barbara J.
