She turned the meeting over to Council President Tim Scott.
Council President Scott invited a number of people to sit with them at the table to make it more
of a conversation and not as formal. He asked everyone to go around the table and introduce
themselves. The following people did so: Jo M. Broden, Common Council Fourth District; Steve
Cox, Chief of South Bend Fire Department and a member of the Operations Board of PSAP;
Peter Agostino, Deputy County Attorney who has been assigned to work with PSAP and also
involved in negotiating the collective bargaining agreement with the employees; Carly Etter,
Administrative Officers for the PSAP; and Brent Croymans Executive Director for the 911
Center.
Council President Scott stated today the concern is the overall operation and status of PSAP and
also how it affects South Bend's Budget. Hopefully we can find out the justification for the
dollars that are being allotted for next year. It is currently put under the Police Budget and in the
past we have talked about separating it out.
455 County -City Building • 227 W.
