Due to the age of the City's existing fleet, it is imperative that the unit's be <br />delivered as quickly as possible. Stated delivery lead time maybe included as an integral <br />part of our bid selection process. FOB Central Services. If the bid is not <br />awarded to the lowest bidder, thefactors used to justify the auvardswill bestated inwriting A the <br />request of any bidder. <br />The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any <br />irregularities or informalities. <br />All containers bid must be compatiblewith the new hook -lift truck on order by the City, Stellar <br />190-24-52, 190" cab to trunnion, body lengths of 19'-22' containerswith24' flatbed, 52,000 <br />lb. lift, hook height61.75". <br />Container Construction: <br />* M ust be capable of both hook and cable pick up. <br />• Floor constructed of/d' steel with 7 gaugeside construction. <br />*Under carriage to be 3" structural channel 18" on center with full 3" structural channel apron. <br />*Side stakes to be on 30" centers. Top cap to be 3" x 4" x 3/16" tubing. <br />*Door frames constructed of 3" x 4" x 3/16" up rights and 2" x 3" x 3/16" tubing horizontal <br />cross -members. <br />*Doors to be on top.of floor with floor sweep and include heavy duty door hingeswith grease <br />zerks. <br />*Front roll Iersto be 4" x 5 3/" with grease zerks, rear rollers 8" x diax 10" long minimum with <br />grease zerks. <br />* Gravel guards to be included. <br />*All fl oor to wall, A -frame and rear stiffeners to be ful I welded. <br />*1/4" round tarp railswith tarp hooksfront and rear to be included. <br />*Unitsto includedoor safely chains using a heavy-duty latch system. <br />* L adders on the front dri ver' s si de and rear passenger si de to be included. <br />*Decal pl ates to be i ncl uded. <br />*Industrial enamel primer and painted green. <br />*AI I cont ii ners to be del ivered complete i ncl udi ng decals and D.O.T. ref eat ive tape. <br />1101 <br />
