January 29, 1968 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order at <br />10:00 A M. wtth all members present. The minutes of the previous meeting were <br />reviewed and approved by the Board. <br />SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON MUNICIEA—L SERVICE FACILITY BUILDING <br />Mr. Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer asked that the Board approve the installation <br />of special "Speed Limit 1011 signs on the Municipal Service Facility.Building. <br />The Board made the motion, duly seconded and unanimously passed the recommendation. <br />RESIDNATION OF HEAL LANS FRCM THE POLICE DEPARVENT <br />The resignation of Neal Hans of the Police Department was submitted by the Police <br />Chief, Mr. Hans having completed twenty years and seven months of service on the <br />department. The resignation, having been approved by the Chief was unanimously <br />passed and approved by the Board effective February 1, 1968. <br />APPLICATION OF ORAL E. ROSS OF LAKEVILLE FOR SPECIAL POLICE <br />The application of Gerald E. Ross of Lakeville, Indiana was presented to th e <br />C Board as a special police for the Producers Market. <br />U The Board asked that the application be returned to the Police Department and that <br />the Chief of Police give us a recommendation along with the"application, stating <br />that he has investigated the applicants moral character and that this appointment <br />be made. <br />APPLICATION FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Applications for the fire department were received from Russell August Buysse, <br />Richard Donald Kruszewski, John Paul Bikowskiand Jan F.
