25 1 <br />April 24, 1967 <br />The regular session of the Board of Public Works was called to order with all members <br />present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />REQUEST: FIREIu'[AN'S BALL } <br />A request was received from John S. Fezy, Chairman of the Fireman's 1967 Ball <br />to hold their annul ball or, September 2, 1967 at the Uniiersity of Notre Dame - <br />at Stepan Center. <br />The Sall and date were approved, and the secretary was instructed to notify the <br />Fire.department. <br />STREET LI HT.PETITION: Carroll and Elder Streets - <br />A petition was received from several residents in the of Carroll and Elder <br />Streets for a street light to be installed at that corner. <br />The petition was approved and sent to the engineers office for study and <br />recommendation. <br />' STREET LIGHT PETITION: 726 CALIFORNIA AVENUE <br />U A letter of request was received from Richard Geib representing Mrs. Lucinda CUp <br />V <br />for a street light to be installed in front of.her house.. The letter was referred <br />to the engineering department for study and recommendation. <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFER OF FUNDS POLICE DEPARV ENT <br />..It was unanimiously resolved by the Board of Public works and Safety that the <br />transfer of $600.00 from P-262 (Medical, Surgical, and Dental Account ) to P-261 <br />(Mechanical Assistance) be approved, Said account being in the Police department <br />and all being in the General Fund, is hereby approved. <br />APPLICATION,- POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The application of Jose h Edward I� orf was filed by the Board of Public Works <br />and Safety .cam Ve_t4 STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS: <br />The street Light outage reports for the week were approved and ordered filed by the <br />Board. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
