23'7A <br />To be Added to Minutes of.January 23, 1967 <br />Mr. Clem Hazinski; Director of the Traffic Engineering Department asked that the <br />following report be discussed at the meeting of the Board of Public Works and <br />Safety; <br />At the present time parking is prohibited on both sides of Chapin Street from <br />Sample Street (800 block) to the -New York Central Viaduct (500 block.) Such <br />restrictions provide for orderly and expeditiogs movement of vehicular traffic. <br />However, parking is still permitted under the viaduct, reducing four lanes to two. <br />Field checks indic(-te all of the vehicles parked there are operated by Oliver Corp- <br />oration employees. Adequate off street facilities exist for these. <br />In order to continue desirable movement and flow, it is recommended that parking <br />be prohibited on both sides of Chapin Street from and including the viaduct <br />(500 block) to Western Avenue (400 block.) <br />The preceding report was approved by the Board. <br />`TT SIT: Rici�rj fr 1 <br />1 <br />J <br />L�r <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
