November 28, 1966 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order <br />at 10:00 A. M. with members Robert J. DuComb and James A. Bickel present. The <br />minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />MOTION FOR APPEAL - LORENZO HILL <br />Patrick Brennan, attorney for Lorenzo Hillfiled a motion for appeal to the Board <br />of Public Works and Safety.. It was filed by the Board. <br />REPORT-- CLEM HAZINSKI - TRAFFIC DIRECTOR <br />CLEM HAZINSKI, TRAFFIC DIRECTOR; asked that the following report be added to the <br />minutes of the Board of Safety: <br />1. Two NO PARKING signs and posts on the north side of the 1300 block <br />of W. Sample St. (Provides lane for vehicles north bound on Walnut <br />turning west on sample) <br />2. NO PARKING sign on west side of Duey Street. Also paint the curb <br />yellow. on the west side of Duey from South Bend Ave. north to first <br />drivetay. (Narrow street provides room for only one vehicle at <br />approach to South Bend Avenue) <br />GC) <br />The preceding were approved by the Board. <br />TJ <br />POLICE BONDS SPECIAL POLICE <br />A position schedule bond in the amount of $11000 for each officer for the various <br />special police officers of the South Bend Tribune was filed and approved by the <br />,Board. <br />APPLICATIONS - POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The following applications for the police department were stamped filed by the <br />Board but will not be processed by the Police Department as they are not com- <br />plete. The Secretary was instructed to write to these applicants and inform <br />them of this; Clarence Robinson, Harry Lee Ellis and Harold Harding, Jr. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />The street light outage reports for the wee approved and ordered filed <br />by the Board. <br />ruAT UA1fS5 <br />
