The parade route will be, assemble at Lafayette and Sample, north on Lafayette to <br />Washington, east on Washington to Main, south on Main to South Street. <br />Approval was granted and the Secretary was instructed to inform the Police Dept. <br />and the street department. <br />REQUEST = PARADE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />A request from the Fraternal Order of Police, to hold a parade through the downtown area <br />at 11:OO A. M. on Saturday, July 9, in conjunction with the 24th annual Police Show. <br />The parade would consist of area horse and saddle clubs, and would form at 10:30 A. M. <br />in the 300 and 400 blocks of West South Street, then North on Lafayette, East on <br />Colfax, then South on Main to South St. to the assembly area to disband. <br />The request was granted pending the filing of the proper insurance in the Board of <br />Works office. <br />REQUEST POLICE OFFICER - MOVE TO COUNTY <br />A request from Officer Walter L. Benninghoff and approved by Chief Hampton to move <br />out of the city wash approved by the Board. Officer Benninghoff has been with the, <br />Department for fourteen years. <br />�. A request from Officer Paul J. Kozak, and approved by Chief Hampton, to move out of <br />the city was approved by the Board. Officer Kozak has been with Department for <br />twelve years. <br />V REQUEST STREET LIGHTS <br />V <br />A request for a street light on East Byron Drive between Springbrook and Sampson Sts. <br />was received from Eli D. Miller. This request was filed by the Board and referred <br />to Gene Radecki for investigation and recommendation. <br />A request for a street light in the 900 Block of 32nd Street, signed by several <br />residents in that vicinity was received and filed by the Board and referred to <br />Mr. Gene Radecki for investigation and recommendation. <br />STREET SIGN INSTALLATION - TRAFFIC <br />NR. Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, asked that the following installations of signs <br />be approved by the Board: <br />STOP SIGN & Post on Pokagon on south side of street at the approach <br />to Leeper Avenue. <br />36" Yield Sign & Post on North-east corner of Ridgedale & Twyckenham. <br />APPLICATIONS FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />Applications for the police department were received from the following people: <br />John Joseph Bergan, John Franklin Galasso, David Lee Andrews, and Robert William Drajer. <br />These applications were filed by the Board. <br />APPLICATIONS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ApPlications for the Fire Department were received and ordered filed by the Board <br />from Ronald Leroy Vargo and Thorns Joseph Bilinski. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS. <br />The street light outage reports were approved and ordered filed by the Board. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />1.131.310.31 <br />ATTEST- RIC J.
