May 23, 1966 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was opened at <br />10:00 A. M. With. W. James A. -'Bickel axid Mr. Lloyd Taylor present, Lloyd Taylor <br />presiding in the absence of Mr. DgComb. <br />REQUEST - PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE - POLICE DEPT RADIO CMWICATIONS CENTER <br />The Police Department has requested permission to advertise for the Radio C <br />Communications Center in the Central Services Building. The Ad will be placed <br />in the South Bend Tribube and the Tri-County News on May 27 and June 3 and bids <br />will be received on June 27. <br />REQUEST - STREET LIGHT 1100 BLOCK BETWEEN EDDY AND ARTHUR ON M NER <br />A request from several residents on Miner Street belonging to the Mt. Olive <br />M. B. Church that a street light be installed in the 1100 Block between Eddy <br />Street and Arthur Streets was referred to Mr. Gene Radecki for investigation <br />and recommendation. <br />PETITION - STREET LIGHT - ALLEY AT 835 S0, PULASKI STREET <br />A petition requesting a street light by the alley at 835 So. Pulaski Street <br />was filed by the Board and referred to Mr. Gene Radecki for investigation and <br />recommendation. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: MONTHLY REPORT <br />a monthly report from the police depattment was Oubmitted by Mr. Irvin Hampton <br />Police Chiefs and ordered filed by the Board. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />The street light outage reports for the week were approved and ordered filed. <br />There being no further"business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 A.
