November 2;�, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />November 22, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the <br />last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were approved and <br />ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT: SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( HEARINGS ) <br />Comes now Richard Liszewski, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the <br />Building Department, and requests permission to post a house as sub -standard. <br />The property is located at 633 N. Walnut Street and is presently occupied. <br />Permission granted to post residence with reolzest that notification be <br />sent to proper and interested parties. Mrs _Jennie_Lalime.is. owner,._ <br />Mr. Liszewski further reported that property located at 534 N. St. Louis <br />Boulevard is sub -standard and that a representative of the owners George <br />and Ruth Clayton, had contacted his office and requested an extension of <br />t.- 60 days to make necessary repairs. <br />Request granted with stipulation that doors and windows be boarded up. <br />Mr. Liszewski requested permission to post <br />property <br />Elder Street as sub -standard. The property isowned lbya2 <br />Alf and0verine <br />Bolten, and is presently occupied. <br />Permission granted with stipulation that interested parties be notified. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />A Report from the Building Department for the month of October, 1965 was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: TRAFFIC SIGN INSTALLATION <br />FolloViing an investigation by Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, of <br />traffic conditions at Linden Avenue at Westwood, Mr. Hazinski recommended <br />that a 30 m.p.h. speed limit sign be installed at this location. <br />The investigation was occasioned by a request of M.r. Anthony Hereseg of <br />266 Westwood Avenue. <br />The Board approved the installation. <br />APPLICATION POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The application of Doin LaRue Basham for the Police Department was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATION• FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />An application from Robert Eugene NaVrrocki for the Fire Department was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BONDS ( DREWRY'S ) <br />The following Special Police Bonds for Special Police Officers employed <br />by Drewry's. Ltd. were approved and ordered placed on file. Commissions <br />for these officers were formerly approved, pending receipt of Bonds: <br />John M. Czakany <br />George H. Klowetter <br />Edward J. Hosinski <br />Bud Lambick <br />Joseph Torzewski <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />
