' <br />Mr, Liszewski requested permission to post property located at 414 <br />Pennsylvania Avenue, owned by Mrs. Elizabeth Micek, as sub -standard. <br />Repair orders have been ignored. <br />Mr. Francis Sriber, realtor, appeared before the Board to represent <br />Mrs. Micek who is now in California, He advised the Board that the <br />present tenants at this address have not been paying rent and there <br />is now sufficient money to make the necessary repairs. <br />After hearing Mr. Sriber, the Board requested him to contact the owner <br />to learn her intentions about bringing the property up to Code. - <br />With reference to property located at 532-534 N. Hill Street, owned <br />by Mrs, Joseph Dunfee, Mr. Liszewski advised the Board that this <br />property has now been purchased by Mr. Dominic Simeri who will <br />demolish this property by private contractor. <br />�,. Comes now Miss Pearl Daar, owner of property located at 513-515 E, <br />Pennsylvania Avenue, to show cause why property has not been brought <br />GO up to standard, <br />Mass Daar was not in accord with the provisions of the order to make <br />the repairs which the Building Department and the Department of Sub - <br />Standard claim are necessary to meet the Code. <br />After hearing Miss Daar the Board continued.the hearing for two weeks <br />in order to make a personal inspection of the houses in question. <br />A progress report by Mr. Liszewski on property located at 134 N. Olive <br />Street, owned by Anderson Jones, revealed that the 14 day extension <br />granted to clean up debris had expired and no clean-up program had been <br />performed. Mr. Liszewski claimed that more debris had been added <br />to that already on the premises. <br />The Board directed Mr. Liszewski to notify the owner that unless he <br />cleans up this property the City will let bids for demolition. <br />STREET LIGHT REQUEST <br />A request for a street light at the property owned by Mrs. Harry Demos, <br />located at 222 S. Sheridan, was submitted to theBoard and referred to <br />the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: PARKING ( MISHAWAKA AVENUE ) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, submitted his recommendation to <br />prohibit parking on the north side of Mishawaka Avenue from a point <br />opposite the east right-of-way line of 20th Street at its intersection <br />with Mishawaka Avenue to the intersection of Greenlawn and Mishawaka <br />Avenue. <br />This request is made to expedite the flow of westbound traffic in the <br />1900 block of Mishawaka Avenue and to provide for orderly two lane <br />flow of traffic. <br />This was approved by the Board, subject to the approval of the City <br />Engineer. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: RECC21,1EENDATION - REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS (FIRST BANK <br />Mr. Hazinski reported that permits have been granted for curb cuts in <br />the 200 block of West Jefferson on the south side of the street and <br />also on the 200 block of South Lafayette Boulevard ,on the east side <br />of the street. These cuts are for exit and entrance drives to the <br />First Bank & Trust Company Branch Bank which is under construction. <br />Permission granted for such removal of meters. <br />
