April 19, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, April <br />19, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular <br />meeting and the special meeting tuere approved. Vouchers were approved and <br />ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE: POLICE DEPARTMENT WALK-IN TYPE VAN TRUCE <br />Permission to advertise for a Walk-in type Van Truck was granted to the <br />Police Department. <br />Advertisements will be placed on April 23, April 30, 1965. Sealed bids <br />will be received on May 10, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. <br />SPECIAL .POLICE•- , vT SSIO RE D <br />The Board approved a Special Police Commission for Leon L..Reuhland <br />subject to receipt and approval of Bond. Mr. Reuhland is employed <br />by Delaney Detective agency. <br />APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARA ENT <br />An application for Frank Mattei and an application for William Louis <br />Phebus for` the Police Department were accepted and ordered placed on <br />file. <br />REPORT:_ POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />A report for the month of March, 1965 from the Police Department was. <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARRAENT•. ATTEND CONVENTION <br />As the designated representative to the Plan Commission from the Board <br />of Public Works & Safety, Forrest R. West, Building Commissioner, <br />requested permission to attend the annual convention of the American <br />Society of Planning Officials at Toronto, Canada on April 25-29, 1965. <br />Permission granted. <br />It is understood that expenses will be -reimbursed from the City Plan <br />Commission budget, Item No. 213 <br />SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />Richard Lisewski, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the Building <br />Department, requested permission to post property located at 633 E. <br />Keasey Street, owned by Uillis Devine. The property is sub -standard. <br />Permission granted. <br />APPLICATIONS FIRE DEP_ARTIJTENT <br />An application for the Fire Department from William Hen_yr Crittendon <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come <br />was adjourned at 10: 25 A.M. <br />Attest: Richard J.
