22 <br />March 8, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />March 8, 1965 at 10:00 A.14. All members were present. Minutes of the <br />last regular meeting and the special meeting were read and approved. <br />Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />RUIMING BID: FIRE DEPARrEvENT ( STATION WAGON - AQULET ) -CONTRACT NO. 7-6� <br />After investigation and tabulation of the bids -'for the Fire Department <br />station viagon to be converted to an ambulet, the follovringx bid was <br />considered the lowest and best bid and is now awarded: <br />Ron,v Hanms Cor-o. <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />1 - 1965 Ford Wagon with conversion by National Coaches as per <br />specifications, delivered to South Bend less trade-in and taxes <br />Total price with options installed $4,996.77 <br />FIRE, DEPARTTvIENT: DISABILITY PENSION_ JO R WHIERING ) <br />It was the unanimous decision of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's <br />Pension Fund in regular session to approve the disability per -Sion of <br />Fireman John R. Wilmer-Lng in the amount of 55% of a fully paid first <br />class fireman's salary, effective February 16, 1965 and said fireman <br />is hereby granted said pension by the Board of Public Safety and <br />ordered removed from the active list of the Fire Department. <br />FIRE DEPARTIENT: RETIRMENT ( 'WILLIAM P. DOVINE ) <br />The Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension Fund having approved the <br />application of Fireman William Patrick Dovrnes for retirement from the <br />Fire Department, effective March 18, 1965 with a monthly service <br />pension of 550 of a fully paid first class fireman's salary, said <br />action of the Pension Board of Trustees is nmv approved by the Board <br />of Public Safety and Firema <br />n Dovrnes' name is hereby ordered removed <br />from the active list of the Fire Department. <br />FIRE DEPARDENT: EXPIRATION OF PROBATION PERIOD ( J. R.
