11/17/69 date of hearing on said improvements, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said improvements adopted May 26, 1969, and first confirmed on June 18, 1969, are in all things finally confirmed and the improvements ordered made. FINAL CONFIRMATION - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 32941 1969 - ALLEY FROM NOTRE DAME TO ST. PETER STREET For the improvement of the alley lnc�the 200 block of North Notre Dame Avenue, from Notre Dame Avenue to St. Peter Street, by constructing a Class C, Type 1 pavement. No written remonstrances having been received bearing the signatures of 51% or more of the resident property owners on said street to be improved having been filed within 10 days following the date of hearing on said improvement, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that said improvement adopted on June 30, 1969, and first confirmed on July 23, 1969, is in all things finally confirmed and the improvement ordered made. REQUEST TO MAKE ALLEY FOUR-WAY STOP - C. E. LEE COMPANY Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of C. E. Lee Company, Q c 225 S. Main Street, South Bend, Indiana for alleys in the 200 block of S. Main and S. Lafayette (north & south) and W. Wayne and W. Jefferson (east and west) to be made a four-way stop was referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation to the Board. STREET LIGHT REQUEST - E. FAIRVIEW AND S. RUSH STREETS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of Clement Thilman and three others for a street light at E. Fairview and S. Rush Streets was re- ferred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation to the Board. STREET LIGHT REQUEST - 700 BLOCK S. 35TH STREET Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of Mrs. John R. Horvath and 19 others for a street light in the middle of the 700 block of South 35th Street was referred to the Traffic Engineer for recommendation to the Board. STREET LIGHTING - KENSINGTON FARMS Action by the Board on the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer regarding street lighting in Kensington Farms, Section, continued from November 10, 1969, was further continued to November 24, 1969. REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS APPROVED - 200 BLOCK N. MICHIGAN Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Director for the removal of parking meters #3, #5, #7 and #9 on the west side of the 200 block of N. Michigan Street, in order to provide access (curb cuts) to the off street parking facility at the rear of the Hotel LaSalle. IRONWOOD BRIDGE DETOUR REGULATIONS - APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendations of the Traffic Director for temporary traffic regulations while Ironwood Bridge is closed, as follows: 1. Parking prohibited on Greenlawn between Northside Boulevard and M i shavkaka Avenue. 2. No parking on the south side of Northside Boulevard for a distance of approximately 300 feet either side of Greenlawn. 3. Four-way stop signs at Ruskin and Greenlawn. 4. Three-way stop signs at Northside and Greenlawn (to regulate movement from Northside to Greenlawn for routing to the Twyckenham bridge).
