PETER STREET <br />For the improvement of the alley lnc�the 200 block of North Notre Dame <br />Avenue, from Notre Dame Avenue to St. Peter Street, by constructing a Class <br />C, Type 1 pavement. <br />No written remonstrances having been received bearing the signatures of 51% <br />or more of the resident property owners on said street to be improved having <br />been filed within 10 days following the date of hearing on said improvement, <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that said improvement adopted on June 30, 1969, and <br />first confirmed on July 23, 1969, is in all things finally confirmed and the <br />improvement ordered made. <br />REQUEST TO MAKE ALLEY FOUR-WAY STOP - C. E. LEE COMPANY <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of C. E. Lee Company, <br />Q <br />c <br />225 S. Main Street, South Bend, Indiana for alleys in the 200 block of S. <br />Main and S. Lafayette (north & south) and W. Wayne and W. Jefferson <br />(east and west) to be made a four-way stop was referred to the Traffic <br />Engineer for study and recommendation to the Board. <br />STREET LIGHT REQUEST - E. FAIRVIEW AND S. RUSH STREETS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of Clement Thilman and <br />three others for a street light at E. Fairview and S. Rush Streets was re- <br />ferred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation to the Board. <br />STREET LIGHT REQUEST - 700 BLOCK S. 35TH STREET <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of Mrs. John R. Horvath <br />and 19 others for a street light in the middle of the 700 block of South <br />35th Street was referred to the Traffic Engineer for recommendation to the <br />Board. <br />STREET LIGHTING - KENSINGTON FARMS <br />Action by the Board on the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer regarding <br />street lighting in Kensington Farms, Section, continued from November 10, <br />1969, was further continued to November 24, 1969. <br />REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS APPROVED - 200 BLOCK N. MICHIGAN <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Director for the removal of parking meters <br />#3, #5, #7 and #9 on the west side of the 200 block of N. Michigan Street, <br />in order to provide access (curb cuts) to the off street parking facility <br />at the rear of the Hotel LaSalle. <br />IRONWOOD BRIDGE DETOUR REGULATIONS - APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendations <br />of the Traffic Director for temporary traffic regulations while Ironwood <br />Bridge is closed, as follows: <br />1. Parking prohibited on Greenlawn between Northside Boulevard and <br />M i shavkaka Avenue. <br />2. No parking on the south side of Northside Boulevard for a distance <br />of approximately 300 feet either side of Greenlawn. <br />3. Four-way stop signs at Ruskin and Greenlawn. <br />4. Three-way stop signs at Northside and Greenlawn (to regulate movement <br />from Northside to Greenlawn for routing to the Twyckenham bridge). <br />
