<br />A tract of land located in the east one-half of Section 4,
<br />Portage Township, beginning on the north line of Prast Boulevard,
<br />as now exists, at a point 3.02 feet west of the west line of
<br />Illinois Street; thence west on and along the north line of
<br />said Prast Boulevard, a distance of 480.29 feet to its inter-
<br />section with the southerly line of Ardmore Trail; thence south
<br />63 degrees 22 minutes west on and along said southerly line of Ard-
<br />more Trail a distance of 108.162 feet to its intersection with
<br />the easterly line of Sheridan Avenue; thence south on and along
<br />said east line of Sheridan Avenue a distance of 31.51 feet to its
<br />intersection with the south line of Prast Boulevard; thence east
<br />on and along said south line of Prast Boulevard a distance of

<br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the
<br />Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain
<br />any facilities, including, but not limited to, electric, telephone,
<br />gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches
<br />within the vacated right of way unless such rights are released
<br />by the individual utilities.

<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted said assessment
<br />roll, and set 9:30 A.M., on October 27, 1969, as the date for hearing
<br />remonstrances. And the Clerk was directed to publish notice of such hearing
<br />in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 3, October 10
<br />and October 17, 1969.
<br />REQUEST TO HOLD HOMECOMING PARADE - ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL - 10/i0/69
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board granted permission to
<br />Mike Bankowski, 1017 N. O'Brien Street, South Bend, Indiana, for St. Joseph
<br />High School to hold a parade consisting of about 20 vehicles, on October
<br />10, 1969, commencing at 6:00 P.M., providing evidence of proper insurance
<br />is provided.
<br />COMPLAINT ON CONDITION OF 1044 LASALLE COURT
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the complaint of Elzie Lovings,
<br />1059 LaSalle Court, South Bend, Indiana, and others concerning the con-
<br />dition of the property at 1044 LaSalle Court was referred to Sub -Standard
<br />Department for investigation and report.
<br />COMMUNICATION - VALLEY CABLEVISION CORPORATION
<br />A communication from Valley Cablevision, under date of September 24, 1969,
<br />concerning the construction of the CATV system in the city of South Bend,
<br />was referred to the City Attorney for study and report.
<br />MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM LEASES
<br />Copy of lease by Morris Civic Auditorium with S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. for
<br />September 20, 1969, and with the South Bend Pilot Club for September 12,
<br />1969 were ordered failed.
<br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT POLL - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3247 - S. CARLISLE -
<br />CONTINUED FROM 8/25/ 9
<br />Hearing on the assessment roll for the improvement of S. Carlisle Street,
<br />from Prairie Avenue to Indiana Avenue, by constructing a Class C pavement
<br />with curb repair, having been continued from August 25, 1969, was further
<br />continued to October 6. 1969.
