Special Meeting - July 24, 1969 At a special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety called by the President, with Mr. Taylor and Mr. Crumpacker present, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the City exercise its options to purchase the _ following described parcels of real estate: Lot numbered 23 and the east 65 feet of Lot numbered 22 as shown on the original plat of the town, now city, of South Bend, to- gether with the use of a private alley 10 feet wide east and west, running north and south across Lot numbered 24 in said original plat of the town, now city, of South Bend, from Colfax Avenue to the north line of Lot numbered 23 parallel with North Main Street, the west line of which alley is 89 feet east of the east line of said Main Street. The east 66 feet of Lot numbered 24 of the original plat of the town of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. The south 22 feet of the west 94 feet of Lot numbered 24 of the original plat of the town, now city, of South Bend. Lot numbered 38 as shown on the original plat of the town, now city, of South Bend. Lois numbered 39 and 40 as shown on the original plat of the town, now city, of South Bend. It was further moved, seconded and carried that contracts covering the erection of parking structure No. 1, located at Colfax and Main Street, and parking structure No. 2, locatedat St. Joseph Street and Jefferson Boulevard, covering electrical work, mechanical work, elevator installation and general construction, be approved and signed by the Board.
