Special Meeting - July 23, 1969 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was held at 7:30 <br />P.M. on July 23, 1969. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, and <br />S. J. Crumpacker, City Attorney. Also present was John Worley of Clyde E. <br />Williams & Associates, Inc., consulting engineer. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3294 CONFIRMED - ALLEY 200 BLOCK N. NOTRE DAME <br />For the improvement of the alley in the 200 block of North Notre Dame <br />Avenue, from Notre Dame Avenue to St. Peter Street, by constructing a <br />Class C, Type I pavement. <br />This being the date set for hearing remonstrances, proofs of publication in <br />the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on July 3 and July 11, 1969, <br />were tendered by the Clerk and found to be sufficient; and no one having <br />appeared either for or -against said improvement, the Board, being fully <br />advised in the premises decides that the benefits to the property liable <br />to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the <br />same as reported by the City Engineer. BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the <br />Board that Improvement Resolution No. 3294, duly passed on June 30, 1969, <br />for said improvement is hereby in all things confirmed and the improvement <br />ordered made. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL (CONTINUED FROM JUL'Y 21, 1969) <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION N0. 3247 - S. CARLISLE STREET <br />For the improvement of South Carlisle Street, from Prairie Avenue to Indiana <br />Avenue, by constructing a Class C pavement with curb repair. <br />Hearing on the assessment roll having been continued from July 21, 1969, is <br />now resumed. After hearing -all interested parties, upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the hearing is further continued until July 28, 1969, at 9:30 <br />A.M. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad- <br />journed at 8:50 P.M. <br />/riClerk <br />1 <br />
