Special Meeting - June 18, 1969 <br />A special. meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30 <br />P.M., on June 18, 1969, in the Council Chambers. Preseht'were Lloyd S. Taylor, <br />City Engineer, and James A. Bickel, City Controller. Also present was John <br />Worley, of Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc., consulting engineers. <br />COST ESTIMATES FILED <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS CONFIRMED <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION -NO.- 3284, 1969 - being for the improvement <br />of Vine --Street, from 32nd Street to 34th Street, by constructing a <br />Class C pavement with curb repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3285, 1969 - being for the improvement of <br />Vine Street, from 34th Street to 35th Street, by constructing a Class <br />C pavement with curb repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3286, 1969 - being for the improvement of <br />Vine Street, from 35th Street to 36th Street, by constructing a Class <br />C pavement with curb repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3287, 1969 - being for the improvement of <br />Prast Boulevard, from Johnson Street to Huey, by constructing a Class <br />C pavement with curb repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3288, 1969 - being for the improvement of <br />Clyde Street, from Ewing Street to Altgeld Avenue, by constructing a <br />Class C pavement with curb repair. <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and being fully advised in <br />the premises, and the Clerk of the Board having shown p-roofs of publication <br />of notice to property owners and the same having been found sufficient, the <br />Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for <br />said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by <br />the City Engineer. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that said above improvement' <br />resolutions, duly passed by this Board on May 26, 1969, be, and the same are, <br />hereby in all things confirmed as passed and the improvements are hereby <br />ordered made. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 8:30 P.M. s'7 <br />.
