SPECIAL MEETING - June 3, 1969 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at <br />7:30 P.M., i,n the Council Chambers, on June 3, 1969. Present were Lloyd S. <br />Taylor and S. J. Crumpacker. <br />Also present was John Worley, of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, consult- <br />ing engineers. <br />CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS <br />This being the date set for hearing remonstrances on the following improve- <br />ment resolutions: <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3273, 1969 - FREMONT STREET, FROM <br />WASHINGTON TO LAWTON - being for the improvement of said street <br />by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3274, 1969 - ALLEY BETWEEN S. MICHIGAN <br />AND SOUTH MAIN - being for the improvement of said alley by con- <br />0 strutting a ClassC pavement. <br />C' <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3275, 1969 - ALLEY BETWEEN WAYNE STREET <br />SOUTH AND SUNNYMEDE AVENUE - being for the improvement of said <br />alley by constructing a Class C pavement. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3282, 1969 - WALL STREET, FROM IRONWOOD <br />DRIVE TO 24TH STREET - being for the improvement of said street by <br />constructing a Class C pavement with curb repair. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice to property owners in <br />the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on May 16 and May 23, 1969, <br />which were read and found to be proper. <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and being fully advised <br />in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the properties <br />liable to be assessed for such improvements are equal to the estimated cost <br />of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer. <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety that the <br />above improvement resolutions, adopted by this Board on the 12th day of <br />May, 1969, be, and the same are, in all things confirmed and the said im- <br />provements hereby ordered made. <br />There being no further business to come before the Lard, the meeting ad- <br />iourned at 9:30 -?P.M- <br />A <br />Clerk <br />rj <br />Lloyd S.
