<br />A regular meeting'of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 10:07
<br />A.M. on June 2, 196-9. All members were present. The minutes of the previous
<br />meeting were reviewed and approved.
<br />OPEN BIDS - GASOLINE AND FUEL OIL
<br />This being the date set for receiving bids for gasoline and fuel oil for the
<br />period July 1, 1969, through December 31, 1969, as follows:
<br />Item #1 - 300,000 gallons regular gasoline, more or less
<br />(approximately 240,000 gallons to -one location in
<br />bulk transport, balance by tank truck delivery)
<br />Item #2 - 130,000 gallons, more or less, Diesel Fuel #1 or Oil #2
<br />(about 50% heat i ng' purpose and _ 5076 Diesel fuel)
<br />the Clerk tendered proofs -of publication in the South Bend Tribune and Tri
<br />County News on May 23 and May 30, 1969, which were read and found to be proper.
<br />Bids were opened as follows:

<br />collusion affidavit and bid bond in the amount of $1000.00 were found.to
