<br />AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION - CHARLES NIBLICK
<br />On the petition of Charles Niblick for the vacation of the first ease
<br />west alley north of Marion Street from Scott Street east to the north -
<br />south alley between Scott Street and Leland Avenue, Situated between
<br />Lots 25 and 26 in James D. Kent's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot 114.
<br />Area Plan Commission recommends favorably for the vacation of said
<br />alley. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the petition
<br />is referred to the City Engineer for the preparation of a Vacation
<br />Resolution.
<br />SALARY INCREASE APPROVED - RALPH ROSENBERG - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM
<br />Following discussion, the motion was made, seconded and unanimously
<br />carried to increase the salary of Ralph Rosenberg, acting manager of
<br />Morris Civic Auditorium, from $170.00 semi-monthly to $250.00 semi-
<br />monthly, commencing May 1, 1969, through June 30, 1969, and that
<br />the working hours for Mr. Rosenberg be changed from 0:00 A.M. to
<br />2:00 P. M., to 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
<br />REQUEST TO SELL POPPIES - AMERICAN AUXILIARY UNIT #272
<br />The request of American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 272, 1712 S. Taylor
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, to sell poppies May 23 and 24, upon motion
<br />made, seconded and carried, was referred to the Charitable Solicitations
<br />Committee.
<br />PETITION TO PAVE VINE STREET, 34TH TO 35TH
<br />A petition to �p ve Vine Street, from 34th Street to 35th Street, under
<br />Barrett,Law, was filed by Henry D. Allen, 3410 Vine Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, and three others. Upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />the petition was referred to the city engineer for study and recommenda-
<br />tion. -

<br />A petition to pave Vine Street, from 35th Street to 36th Street, under
<br />Barrett Law,.was filed by Mrs: J. F. Trimboli, 1002 35th Street, South
<br />Bend, Indiana, and two others. Upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />the petition was referred to the city engineer for study and recommenda-
<br />tion.

<br />A petition to pave Wa1+.:Steeet7 from Ironwood Drive to 24th Street, under
<br />Barrett Law, was filed by Max J. Bulhand, 754 23rd Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, and five others.- Upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />the petition was referred to the city engineer for study and recommenda-
<br />tion.

<br />The following street light petitions were filed and upon motion made,
<br />seconded and unanimously.carried, referred to the Traffic Engineering
<br />for study and recommendation to the Board:

<br />Grant Street - by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kazmierczak, 442 S.°Gra-nt.
<br />Sussex Drive - by Edward Wawrczyniak, 1108 Sussex Drive.
<br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS APPROVED
<br />Items #1 and #2 of Traffic Engineer's recommendation of April -14, 1969,
<br />being for 30 mile per hour speed limit signs on York Road and 25 mile
<br />per hour speed limit sign on Berkshire 100 feet east of York Road, upon
<br />motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, were approved.
