Special Meeting February 26, 1969 A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30 P.M. on February 26, 1969, in the Council Chambers, City Hall. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor, who acted as chairman of themeeting, and S. J. Crum packer. Also present was John Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers. CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS This being the date set for hearing remonstrances on the following Improve- ment Resolutions IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3258, being for the improvement of Hartman Drive, from Rosemary Lane to dead end, by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3267, being for the improvement of �,. West Calvert Street, from Brookfield to Pulaski, byconstruct- ing a Class C pavement with curb repair. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO..3268, being for the improvement of Walsh Street, from Chalfant to Sorin, by constructing a Class C pavement with curb. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3276, being for the improvement of Rosemary Lane, from 100 feet north of Peachtree Lane -to Oakpark, by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs. proofs of publication of notice to property owners, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News on February 7 and February 14, 1969,'were read and found to be sufficient. After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to -the properties liable to be assessed for such improvements are equal to the estimated( cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer. BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety that the above improvement resolutions, adopted by this Board on February 3, 1969, be, and the same are, in all things confirmed and the said improvements are hereby ordered made.
