3/22/71 <br />1 <br />said sewer for the reason that such improvement will not benefit their <br />properties to the amount set out in the assessment roll. <br />After hearing all who wished to speak, it was moved, seconded and carried <br />that the hearing on the assessment roll be continued to Monday, March 29, <br />1971, at 9:30 A.M. <br />LAGOON K - <br />RAILROAD C <br />-36TH STREET SEWER - AC <br />ITH GRAND TRUNK WESTERN <br />Agreement executed February 23, 1971, between the Grand Trunk Western Rail- <br />road Company and the City of South Bend for a storm sewer to pass under <br />the property of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad in connection with the <br />construction of the 36th Street storm sewer and Lagoon k by the City of <br />South Bend was ordered filed. Said agreement being for a period of 10 <br />years upon the payment by the City of South Bend of $60.00 for such 10 <br />year period. <br />STREET LIGHTING APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommenda- <br />tion of the Traffic Engineering Department for street lighting in the area <br />bounded by Elwood, Wilber, Lincolnway West and Olive Street as follows: <br />Install - 35 7,000L MV OH WP <br />24 7,000L MV OH WP <br />Remove - 23 4,0001. INC OH WP <br />1 I,000L INC OH WP <br />at a cost of $1,847.40 per year. <br />STREET LIGHTING POSTPONED <br />Upon motion made seconded and carried, -action by the'Board upon the <br />recommendation of the Traffic'Engineering Department for street lighting <br />in the area bounded by Ridgedale, York, Garland and Miami Streets was <br />postponed two months. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 3/11/71 to 3/18/71 were ordered <br />filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 11:15 A.M.' <br />ATTEST: <br />G-Zc� <br />Clerk <br />
