" <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT - APPLICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT AS SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the -recommendation of <br />Chief of Police Loren M. Bussert was approved for the appointment of Harold <br />C. Klingerman as a special police officer in the employ of E. H. Tepe Company <br />and of Fred E. Zuhike; Sr., as a special police officer in the employ of <br />Feferman Motor Sales. - <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT - STATISTICAL REPORTS <br />_;Statistical reports of the Police Department for the month of February, 1971 <br />were reviewed and ordered filed. <br />PARK DEPARTMENT - CHANGE ORDER APPROVED FOR DISPLAY BARN <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following change <br />order was approved for the Park Department Display Barn: <br />Labor and material to weatherstrip the 4 sliding doors <br />�q on the first floor level and two doors on the upper floor - $207.00 <br />PARK DEPARTMENT - LAND ACQUISITION <br />Mr. James Seitz filed with the Board appraisals received for Lots 2, 11, <br />14 and 23 in College Grove Addition following a discussion of the acquisition <br />of this land by the Park Department, attendant costs and demolition of <br />existing structures thereon. The appraisals were as follows: <br />A. C. Bon Durant - $87,940.00 <br />Walter A. Mucha - $89,150.00 <br />Arthur F. Reasor - $87,405.00 <br />SUB -STANDARDS DEPARTMENT <br />Richard Liszewski, Sub-$tandards Director, appeared before the Board and <br />the following matters were taken up. <br />613-615 N. Hill Street. Anastasio Carlo, owner, and his brother Nicholas Carf10 <br />appeared before the Board. Anastasio Carlo stated that he wishes to <br />rehabilitate the premises. Thereupon the motion was made, seconded and <br />unanimously carried, to continue the matter indefinitely on condition that <br />(1) the building is closed and secured within two weeks; (2) that the <br />accessory building is demolished within four weeks; and (3) that the exterior <br />of the premises are cleaned up and kept in a clean condition. <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for the demolition of the buildings <br />at the following addresses. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. <br />The bids were as follows: <br />321 N.
