Special Meeting - October 27, 1970 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30 P.M. <br />on October 27, 1970. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor, City.Engineer, and S. J. <br />Crumpacker, City Attorney. <br />Also present were John S. Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., con- <br />sulting engineers, and approximately 20 interested residents. <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3330 - ALLEYS BETWEEN HUEY AND O'BRIEN <br />This being the date and time set for public hearing on .Improvement Resolution <br />No. 3330 for the improvement of the alleys between Huey and O'Brien Streets <br />north;;to the tee and from Huey to O'Brien, by constructing a Class C, Type 1 <br />concrete pavement, the Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the <br />South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 9 and October 16, 1970, <br />which were read and found to be sufficient. <br />Mr. Taylor explained the purpose of the meeting and Mr. Worley explained the <br />types of construction available and the cost of the proposed improvement. <br />r-1 <br />After hearing all <br />persons interested who appeared,and they, <br />being fully advised <br />QO <br />in the premises, <br />the Board decides that the benefits to the <br />property liable to <br />be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated <br />cost of the same <br />and, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, Resolution No. <br />3330, adopted <br />A <br />October 5, 1970, <br />was in all things confirmed and the improvement ordered made. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 8;20 P.M. <br />:L::LL <br />Clerk <br />1 <br />
