<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 9:30
<br />A.M., on October 19, 1970, with all members present. The minutes of the
<br />previous,meeting were reviewed and approved.
<br />OPEN BIDS - FIRE STATION #10 (LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD AND IRELAND ROAD)
<br />This being the date set for opening bids for the construction of Fire Station
<br />#10, at Lafayette Boulevard and Ireland Road, the Clerk tendered proofs of
<br />publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 2,
<br />.and October 9, 1970, which were examined and found to be sufficient. The
<br />following bids were received:
<br />general construction bids:
<br />Aulm Construction Company, 1320 S. Franklin Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, + 2-3. Non collusion affidavit was found,:10 be, proper.
<br />The bid was accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 50% of the
<br />bid and a bidder's financial statement (In diana State Board of
<br />Accounts Form 96-a),
